Praises
• Praise God for the success of the Work & Witness team from Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee that worked on the Southwest Colombia District Center in Cali, Colombia. The group was able to accomplish the goals set out for their time.

• Gail Zickefoose sent in this update on her daughter, Brianna Koneski: “We have good news. The wound is healing and Brianna feels encouraged. The specialist predicts that she will not need the portable pump after Thanksgiving (rather than Christmas as first predicted). Baby Abigail is doing fine. Thank you for your prayers. We believe God has responded with grace.”

• Praise the Lord for His help to the Fischers in acquiring their visas and tickets for their move to Ecuador on December 1.

Praises
• Praise God for the success of the International Master’s Plan Convention in Cali, Colombia, last week. People traveled from all over the world and we thank God for His presence and protection. On the Sunday following the convention, the Cali church held an outdoor evangelistic service with an estimated crowd of 12,000. Praise the Lord for 930 people who accepted Christ as Lord and Savior!

Prayer Requests
• Update on Brianna Koneski (Zickefoose’s daughter): After giving birth, Brianna contracted a staff infection, so she had another operation this week. After several days in the hospital, she has returned home. Thankfully, Grandma Gail is there to take care of the baby while Brianna recuperates, and a home care nurse will visit 3 times a week. Please continue praying for this entire family.

• Lift in prayer the Work & Witness team from Virginia, led by Dwight & Carolyn Rich, currently working on the Southwest Colombia District Center in Cali, Colombia.

10/26/07

Praises
• Praise God for the healthy new life of Abigail born yesterday (10/25) at 1:15 p.m. weighing 6 lbs 7 oz. Abigail is the daughter of Brianna Koneski and granddaughter of Craig and Gail Zickefoose. Gail sent in this prayer request: “Now begins the long process (6 weeks) of getting mother stable on her meds while learning to be a mother. We are praying for grace and patience. God is good.”

• The Ecuador national leadership team met in the town of Macas for their bi-monthly meeting last weekend. Macas is the main city of our jungle district. We spent Friday discussing assemblies and strategies for meeting our goals. On Saturday we held a leadership seminar where 40 pastors and lay leaders attended from that jungle district. The District Superintendents each preached in a different church on Saturday evening and then on Sunday morning as well. We give God the glory for not only a great time of fellowship among our national leadership but also for a time of support to the leadership and churches on that district.

Prayer Requests
• Nearly a year ago, we began praying for NAF Partner Diane Wright who damaged her knee and leg in a fall and underwent surgery and physical therapy. Praise God that she and her husband, Al, were able to come to Ecuador this past summer to serve! Now Al sent this update: “Last week Diane had surgery to remove 2 screws from her knee but ended up with some complications. The doctor found problems with the plate. He attempted to adjust it, but she will probably have one more surgery to remove the plate after the first of the year. We appreciate your continued prayers for her.”

• Let's pray for Jon, Shirley and Krista Fischer as they finish turning over their responsibilities in Venezuela to both missionaries and national leaders. They must finalize their packing to move to Ecuador and begin the visa process. All of these items are complicated, saying good-bye to friends of the past 15 years is difficult, and they need a special touch from the Lord during these coming weeks.
