Praises
· We thank God for the help of Kim Haddon, volunteer missionary, as she serves a wide variety of needs in Venezuela.

New Prayer Requests
· Pray for the team from Detroit First Church as they travel back to the states this evening.

· Bruce and Cinda McKellips would appreciate your prayers for their safe travel to and from the states this next week and for a special time with their family as they meet their new grandson!

· Dwight and Carolyn Rich are on Home Assignment for six weeks starting May 1st. Please pray for traveling mercies during this time.

· Please pray for the university students from Point Loma who will be coming to work in Punta de Mata and Barcelona, Venezuela, 5/13-29.

· Lift your prayers for the Zickefooses’ daughters, Brianna and Andrea, who are both expecting babies this year.

· Partner James Higginbotham has requested prayer for retired Pastor Georgie Bozeman who has been diagnosed with cancer. She will have surgery on 4/23.

· Fischer family who are preparing for their upcoming Home Assignment and for their daughter, Michelle, as she transitions to MANU in the fall.

· Partner Virginia Roberts who struggles with several health issues.

· The leadership and future students of NILI (Nazarene International Language Institute) being developed on our Seminary campus in Quito, Ecuador.

· The leadership of our Venezuelan pastors and for the funding of national ministries.

· We have a need for a Nazarene volunteer to teach at Alliance Academy in Quito during the 2007-2008 school year (www.alliance.k12.ec).

· The leadership throughout Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela as they seek to do God’s will.

Praises
· During this Easter week we lift our voices in praise to our Savior, Jesus Christ, who bore our sins and then experienced the incredible resurrection power of God, our Father. Amen!

· We are thankful for the safe travels of several of our missionaries and staff this week. This next week the Howard family will return to the field. Gail Zickefoose and Kim Haddon will also travel to Quito to teach a course at the Seminary. Please pray for the safety of all.

· Praise and glory to God for providing workers for our Venezuelan camp: Nestor and Sulema Galacia and their 2-year-old daughter Stefani. We ask your prayers as they adjust to a cooler climate and a new ministry. Nestor will be a great help during the busiest time of the year and also while the Fischers are on Home Assignment.

New Prayer Requests
· Update on Ginger Wood: Her grandmother passed away Wednesday night, so Ginger flew to the states for the funeral on Thursday. Please pray for her entire family during this difficult time.

· Please remember in prayer Dwight Rich as he travels to Panama, April 11-12, for combined leadership meetings of the SAM and MAC regions.

· Our Seminary will host professor training meetings for a new national theological faculty in Ecuador on April 12-14. This new program, FANET, is aimed at improving the level of theological instruction and provides professors to districts that cannot provide their own for the extension centers. Please pray for each of our professors during this time.

· Pray for the Work & Witness team from Detroit First Church that will work in Ecuador from 4/10-20.

· From the Fischer family: “Please pray for our family as we prepare for Home Assignment. Especially pray for Michelle as she makes the transition from living in Venezuela to go to college at MANU, a somewhat unfamiliar culture. Specifically pray that her roommate will be someone who is deeply rooted in Christ and will be able to understand Michelle’s cultural adjustments. We covet your prayers and know that most of you are already praying for us. Thank you.”
