Praises

· Note from Ginger Wood, Mission Corp Volunteer, who is finishing her assignment here in Quito: “I have been truly blessed to have spent a year in Ecuador as a volunteer. Missions has been a strong desire of mine for at least 11 years. Thank you to everyone who prayed for me from the beginning in making the transition to come here. While here, God showed me He wanted me to relocate to Kansas City. I will basically be starting my life completely over: friends, house, job, car, pet, etc. However, my brother, his wife and their baby live there, so that is a definite plus. I am very excited for this new phase in my life even though I do not have a job. I am just living on faith that God will provide since I feel that I am doing His will. Again, thank you for your prayers and support. Your partner in Ecuador and in Christ, Ginger Wood”

New Praise Requests

· Please pray for Ginger Wood as she transitions back to the States. Pray for God’s will as she sells her home, relocates to the Kansas City area, and searches for a teaching position.

· Lift up in prayer each of our Youth in Mission team members who are scheduled to arrive in Venezuela on Monday, 6/4. Please pray during these days when the political situation is a bit difficult.

Continued Prayer Requests

· Update on Tim Baker’s dad: Last week we asked that God would completely heal Tim’s dad even before the tests were performed. This week he was scheduled to be at the Mayo Clinic for 3-5 days for tests. We give God praise that he was in and out of the clinic within 2 hours because there wasn’t anything there! Thank you for all of your prayers.
· Update on Jennifer Baker’s rotator cuff injury: The surgery is on hold right now. It may possibly be scheduled for the June 5th. The Bakers are seeking God’s direction as to whether she should have the surgery or postpone it until a later time.
· During the next few weeks our ministry interns are arriving in Ecuador to work for the summer. Please remember Jonathan Hooker and Lisa Dagley from MNU and Barron Steele and Bob Huck from Arizona.
· Please pray for God’s protection during the month of June as there is a large amount of travel among our missionary families.
· We are trying to raise a few Work and Witness teams immediately to complete a project in Cali, Colombia, before November. Please pray that God will send us the right groups for this project.
· Craig Zickefoose during his current medical leave.
· The leadership in Venezuela during the absence of missionary staff.
· Fischer family while on Home Assignment, 5/1-8/13, and for their daughter, Michelle, as she transitions to MANU in the fall.
· Dwight and Carolyn Rich while on Home Assignment, 5/1-6/15.
· The Zickefooses’ daughters, Brianna and Andrea, who are both expecting babies this year.
· The leadership and future students of NILI (Nazarene International Language Institute) being developed on our Seminary campus in Quito, Ecuador.
· The leadership of our Venezuelan pastors and for the funding of national ministries.
· The leadership throughout Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela as they seek to do God’s will.
