Praise
· We are thankful for the Alberta Canada team that has been working in Ecuador. They finished pouring the second floor of the Los Tréboles church and plan to worship with the congregation on Sunday. They also started the repairs to the area where we experienced mudslides last spring, and there was damage done to the Work & Witness property. They are shoring up the banks of the property to hold against future storms. They will travel back to Canada on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
· We praise the Lord for a wonderful time at the 3rd Annual Master’s Plan Convention in Cali, Colombia. Well over 1000 people met together for inspiration and learning about the Master’s Plan Strategy. Participants were from Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States.
A highlight was the service in the soccer stadium. Over 30,000 people came to hear Nick Vujicic preach. Nick is a young Australian preacher who was born with no arms or legs. After a clear, powerful evangelistic message, over 2100 people accepted Jesus as their Savior.
· Diane Hall sent in this update about Greg’s father: We so appreciate all the prayer and God's blessings. Dad is home now and is still trying to get use of his right foot. The leg is weak but coming along OK. We praise God that Dad can be home. (Greg & Diane Hall are Mission Corps volunteers who serve in Ecuador.)
Prayer Requests
· The NILI staff is finalizing plans for next semester’s program and is thankful to report that God has blessed the program with a lot of students. However, with a larger number of students comes the need for much wisdom and planning. Pray for the staff as they prepare for this large semester.
